| Hey there my fellow SC hunters! Looks like there hasn't been much activity around lately. I'm new here and I'm looking for an active home. I live in Greenville, SC and I have been just about everywhere. Is there any life out there????? |

Unfartunately it seems to be quite dead. I was here a few years ago and it was quite active and fun. Now it just seems to be pretty blah. Not even all that informative anymore - I wonder what happened. _________________ Impatience is weakness. ---Bene Gesserit saying |

That is so not what I wanted to hear! It seems to happen with every board though. Bad vibes, insults, then silence..... Well maybe we can turn this around!!!! If we post... they will come **giggles** |

Maybe we could organize an investigation of this site! Not only is this place dead, but there is plenty of evidence of activity and very little contact being made. Someone needs to reach out and try to communicate with the lonely souls haunting these boards. _________________ Impatience is weakness. ---Bene Gesserit saying |

I agree, it shows people joining but there hasn't been any new posts. I won't bite!!!!! I've even tried sending personal messages and nothing. I've used the shout box and nothing. I've beginning to think I smell |

I've been watching and reading this forum (not a big poster) for the last several years. This includes the last 2 Ghostocks here in Savannah. The quantity of posts and the posters has changed drastically in the past year or so. I too hate to see it as this board has supplied tons of good reading and investigation tips and advice. Hopefully the downturn is temporary. _________________ "It's never too late to panic"

We can always be positive and say it's because of the holiday season The only downfall, well for me anyway, this is the time of year I'm more "sensitive". Right now I'm doing research on Hopewell TB Asylum in Greenville, S.C. Alot of the information on the internet is WRONG! Anyway, the truth of the matter is... its now a children's park. The boiler room, basement and morgue is still intact, but buried beneath the playground. hmmm I think I need to start another thread....... |

I was operating as the TAPS Family Referral Case Manager for Ghost Hounds so let me fill you in on what may be occurring.
Our founder moved from Atlanta to another state earlier this year and is not able to really dedicate any time to Ghost Hounds right now.
Patrick, myself, and our other Case Manager, Gayle...all had a private meeting a few months ago and the decision was made that Ghost Hounds would be going on an indefinite "hiatus."
This was announced to the members who attended the Sept. meeting but I don't think he ever posted that info to these boards.
Monthly meetings in the Atlanta area were supposed to continue but I haven't seen him post a date for November so those may be on hold right now as well?
You would need to get in touch with Patrick to inquire about that. _________________ Laurie Filsinger

As I posted in another thread, my professional and personal life has taken me from the Atlanta area to Boston. At least until the end of the year. And with everthing going on in my life, I'll admit I've not been able to participate on the site as much in recent months.
With that said, that shouldn't hinder people from posting here! One person a message forum does not make - it takes people (like you all) keeping the discussions alive and interesting.
So nothing has changed in our online presence really. The only real changes are that the investigative arm of GH and our monthly meetings (both in the Atlanta area) are on hold for the time being.
Keep those posts a-comin' and please stand by! _________________ Patrick Burns
