Those of you that attended the February meeting saw a taste of what I hope will become our new "back end" for this website.

Think of Facebook, Flickr, Myspace, youtube and Match.com all rolled into one and you'll get an idea of what is to come. Its a very exciting development and I think it will once again set us apart from the rest of the pack of group sites out there.

I've had to delay upgrading the site to it. The current version of the software is getting ready to see a major rerelease / upgrade. I've held off installing the current version, as I don't want to spend the time configuring everything just so, only to turn around and have to redo it all over again for the upgrade, so I'm holding off until the final, stable release of the new software is available.

The developer expects to release a stable version of the software within 4 to 6 weeks.

I hope everyone is as excited as I am! There will be MAJOR changes to the site that will take some getting used to, but the pros far outweigh the cons in my opinion and the new levels of user interactivity will blow everyone's mind once they get over the small learning bump.

Stay tuned...
