Paranormal response system ...I just made that up. But whatever you call them, if you could only get one, which one would you get, and why?
I'm leaning more towards the Ovilus just because, I am particulary fond of one of its modes. The one that we can't really talk about here. Speaking of which...do any of you agree that these devicers are really maybe just electronic "word I can't write " boards? _________________

Casperette,
what do you mean when you say the "one we can't talk about here"?
Don't know much about the Ovilus, other than the small bit I read about it. Have you used it yourself?

Hey Kristin, I'm talking about the board. I'll PM it to ya. I've used a K2 and love it and have had a Puck demonstration done for me. I like it too, it gathers (and saves) a lot more data than Ovilus but since one of our group members always has it, I just want to get something else. Plus, I have read the user manuals for both Puck and Ovilus, and like the extra modes on the Ovilus. I'm trying to wait for the upgrades to come out later this year before I buy anything. _________________

OK, this is really weird, and you all may think I'm crazy, but I had a K2 meter that I loved using. I had it equipped with an on/off switch and I was really succesful at getting responses with it, but I lost it. I bought a new one recently and had it equipped with an on/off switch, but it just doesn't "feel" the same. Not only that but I can't get a response to save my life! See I told you you'd think I was crazy! Lol! _________________ Participate in Your Own Rescue!
I am still having fun understand the Ovilus a bit more... _________________ Will Hillard-Aymerich

That just makes me believe more that this device is like an electronic board Maybe the first one had an attachment? Or the second one could be broke? Have you tried testing it against a high emf source?

Will, I would have taken you to be more of a PUCK person...since you're a techie. PUCK can be pretty complicated for us non-techies. I got a headache just trying to read the owners manual for this device. _________________

Justaseck- when you mention that they have different feels, you're right! I can't put my finger on it either. Some of them have no trouble coming to life often and other ones don't work even if you are in a known haunted location with a good five evp coming out of every investigation there. It's really something and I don't know how to get to the bottom of it, really. I am interested in trying one of the other methods, though. Both in conjunction and seperately.
One of these days, anyway!
I haven't investigated in nearly a year and don't see one rolling around in my near future. Just too many other things going on that need my attention!
Keep the responses coming I really would like to hear about other people's experiences so it helps me decide what I want to buy for my own use.

I'm going to the Myrtle's in November and a friend of mine is bringing her Ovilus. I'm looking forward to trying that out! _________________ Participate in Your Own Rescue!
