Just thought I would post some stuff about me. When I meet people, and they ask, I tell them I'm a skeptic. Then they think I just won't believe anything. I'm a very logical person. I do like real proof, Dust orbs, cold spots in old houses when it's 20 degrees outside, Matrixing, It's just hard for me to beleive in any of this stuff.
(Some one come find me some cold spots in Florida I could really use some free AC!).
Here some stuff that has happen to me throughout my life We moved around alot so I can remember how old I was when stuff happened and where.
When I was around 5. (Yes I can remember back that far). We where living in my Grandmother Nippers old house. My parents came running into the room cuz I was yelling and screaming in bed because there was a cloaked black shadow/figure in the door way. Althought when I started screaming it disappered. They said I was having a bad dream, but I was really scared (I don't sleep walk or talk in my sleep). So I don't know if it was just a dream or not.
Same house around the same age, I was outside playing. I was running back and forth and skidding in the sand. Was like beach sand in the front yard (this is in Florida). This ball of light came down from the sky. it was the size of one of those small basket balls, looked like a white fire ball. Hit the ground, and went straight back up. I remember looking at the sand to see if it made a mark, but couldn't tell.
Around 9 years old, living in another house. Both my parents worked. I would come home alone. This was something I did day in day out. No big deal. One day. I opened the door, and I was in complete fear. I couldn't go side. There was just something I couldn't see, but I could not enter the house. My dog was inside, and fine, I called her to the door, and went and sat around back crying and freaked out. I thought I heard the front door slam when I was around back. A little bit later I went to the front again, and front door was not closed all the way. (Later on I tried slamming the door, and it won't close shut if you did that, bounced back open a little, which is how I found it). After seening the door cracked open, I went to the neighbors and called my mother, made her come home from work (boy did she love that). But after all that I was fine.
Around 10 years old, I was at my Grandmother Nobles house. (Grandfather passed away when I was 4 or 5). But I was going into his old bedroom, and a white mist rose off the bed and up through the ceiling.
That same room, my Grandma told me one night she was sleeping in there and woke up, there was 2 lights floating around the room, about the size of golf balls. She lived there alone and kept a flashlight next to the bed, She watched them for a short time then turned the flashlight on, and they disappered. She said she put the flashlight in the bed with her to know if she was dream when she woke up in the morning, and it was in the bed with her.
Ok, so now I'm around 11, we are living in single story apartment. Only one door into this place. Same thing, I come home alone from school, something I did day in day out. I go inside, and start to walk down the hallway to the bedroom, and just get this fear over me, scared to death to walk down that hallway, It just felt like something was down there waiting. My dog was there. Acting normal, I take her outside, and sit for a bit, then come back in, still just me and my dog this time, and everything is fine.
Now this is more current about a year ago, was rehabbing a large house we bought to flip. If I plugged this fan in this one room, you could hear faint music, Wife didn't believe me till I showed her. In that same room, there was a murphy bed, (Pull down bed). Since there was so much work I was trying to sleep over there and to keep from having to drive back and forth. I tired 3 nights and gave up. Every 20 mins, something would tickle my face, tickle my feet, shake the bed, or I would feel that feeling when some one walks into the room. You can just tell some one is there. 3 Different nights and this went on for hours and hours. It was pissing me off. I couldn't get any sleep. So I didn't try to sleep there anymore.
Then one night I was playing Anarchy Online, Was chatting with a friend from Canada. He said some one just knocked on his door, but no one was there, but we started talking about ghost, He said his dad had been visiited by 3 ghost, But I had told him what I had typed above. The FIRST thing he ask without knowing anything else was if the house was built on or near a native american burial ground. Just a strange first question to ask and kinda freaked me out. The house is in Indian Hills Subdivision and on Arrowhead LN. It's also what I felt it might be.
Same house. Air wasn't on, It was around 10pm, was talking to my wife on the phone out by the pool. There are 3 sets of 3 sliding glass door, when you open and close the front door the glass all flexes from the pressure. I could tell when some one came in the front door becuase of that. This happened when I was talking to her on the phone, I thought some one came inside. I was like what the hell. I went and checked the front door and it was locked, so were all the other doors except the glass door I went out. No idea what could create that much pressure in the house to make the glass flex on all the doors.
Visiting my Wife's parents in Maine, Dec 2006 They live in a old 1890's house. My wife sister came to stay there while we where visiting, She had just went upstairs to bed, I was downstairs watching TV, About 5 mins later I hear a girls voices say like good night or something over by the stairs, but no one was there, and her sister said it wasn't her.
The next night, My wifes sister had left, everyone else was upstairs in bed sleeping. So I turned the TV off and just listened. I heard some one walking around up stairs, I thought my wife was up, so I waited some more. Then I heard this squeeking metal sound. (The bedroom door knob makes this noise when you turn it.) I thought my wife was coming out, so I waited, but she never did. I went upstairs, She wasn't in the room with the squeeky door knob. She was in her sisters old room sleeping (and had been sleeping for hours) cuz the beds suck.
Her mother said she has seen a little girl on the stairwell landing in the passed.
There is other stuff that deals with more psychic stuff, I may post that another time.
All positive and negitive comments are welcome! I don't get mad over that stuff.

And you're a skeptic? After all that? Ok, dude, whatever! I haven't had near that many experiences, and I'm a full-blown believer (with an open mind who wants to be given all the scientific evidence possible, but I still believe). Wow. That blows my freakin' mind. I don't even know what else to say, and I'm usually very long-winded. Damn.

Hi. It sounds like you may have some psychic ability that you aren't aware of or are ready to think about yet. Most people have some ability to a degree but others have a more pronounced or fine tuned ability. Perhaps energies are drawn to you and others you are interacting with because they know you can see them? It's kind of like they see you as a light and they flock to you like moths (just an analogy). However, I can see where you would be skeptical too, because when it's yourself, it's hard to believe in that when the rest of the world is all about hard, clear facts. In addition, there's always going to be self doubt over some things. That's just an innate part of human nature, we all have a degree of self doubt, even when we're in our "element" . I also know what you mean about needing more than dust orbs and cold spots for evidence, and it's hard to get to the point where you can believe in your own intuition to a degree where it's enough "proof"- that often times doesn't serve as proof for anyone else but you.
A healthy dose of skepticism is good, you need it for balance. But, I can't see where you would be a steadfast skeptic after all that you've experienced. The fact that you're even here looking for answers tells me that you are a believer or looking to balance your skepticism with belief and to be around other like minded people.
How do others around you view these sights and experiences of yours? That may have a lot to do with your skepticism as well. Though, I am willing to bet that there are others like you in your natural family that you don't know about who are witnessing the same types of things. The level of ability seems to run in the family. Being around this site, where there is a healthy amount of belief and skepticism, as well as information about gathering more empirical evidence is a good place to start.
Hope this helps
