My partner and I who are the founding members of ghostsearchers, both work at Unicoi State Park. For the last couple of years strange things have been happening. Pots and pans would go flying off the shelf, you can hear whispering everywhere in the kitchen. About 10 years ago there was a security guard who died in A building and every night around midnight you can go to that building into the commons area and see the rocking chair rocking like someone is in it. But the other day my partner who is the sous chef stayed late with our other boss doing paper work upstairs in the office. They started hearing what sounded like people working downstairs. This was around 11:30 pm so no other employee's were there at this time of night. My partner slowly walked the stairs and noticed shadows moving around in the waitress station. He said the sounds he heard were like someone scooping up ice. My partner and our boss went out into the dining room and started watching the shadows move around in the waitress station and the kitchen. He then started hearing a banging noise and it was coming from the dishroom. He walked through the dining room and seen the swinging doors that go into the dishroom opening and closing. Then all of a sudden 2 small balls of light close together floating in mid air and then going separate ways shot into the walls. Now at Unicoi there are 4 separate building labeled A,B,C, and D. We have heard from different people that also work at Unicoi that D building was haunted, so we went down there last Sunday. We went down there after it got dark outside and took some photos and we both were very surprised about what we caught. To see the pics go to our myspace page.
Interesting! I'm very skeptical though. I am not debunking your theory. However I see nearly the same "Ghost" in all of the pics. Which could be a explained as being smudge on your camera's lens.
I thought I might just be me seeing it in all the pics because of something being temporarily burned into my LCD monitor due to me working on the same graphics all day although the fuzziness I see in all the pics isn't the shape of what I was working on. I checked and it's not my monitor.
If you hold your control key (command key on a mac) and move your wheel mouse up and down you can zoom in and out in most browsers. I can see the markings your calling a ghost are in all of the pics. So there is reason to believe that it could possibly be a smudge or something on the lens. Or maybe smoke from a tobacco product? (I don't know that facility - wouldn't know if smoking in there is allowed)
The light could also be explained as a reflection from your flash due to there being other flash reflections in other pictures posted in that same album.
I wasn't there. I am not saying you're not telling us what you believe. Everything else has to be ruled out before I, personally at least, would say anything is paranormal.
It would be cool if you updated us on your investigation at this place! Can you try to get recordings of the noises? Most cell phones have a voice recorder function on them. Which *might* possibly be able to pick up EVP. Give that a try if you don't have electronics equipment? I'd love to hear the noises you mentioned.

I have to agree with Bort on this assessment. (I was waiting for someone else to see the same thing before responding)
I see the same thing in each shot and the first thing I thought was "what got on the lense?" I had the same artifact on some photos that I took of fireworks at Disney when mist got on my camera lens. Went away when I cleaned it properly.
I would be interested in someone going out there and leaving a mini-DV camera running as well as taking a good digital voice recorder and seeing if they can capture some of this stuff that is happening in that medium. Photography is one of the most difficult mediums but maybe it is me.
That is just my opinion, it is worth about 3 cents. Your mileage may vary.

Ghost hunting is a potentially hazardous activity due to numerous environmental variables. Outdoor ghost hunts typically take place in dark areas such as cemeteries and old buildings which may contain unseen hazards that pose risk of bodily harm, damage to property or even death. We do not recommend anyone venture into an unfamiliar area without first surveying potential hazards during daylight hours.
