I found out yesterday that my grandfather has been seen in his old house by my new brother in law. He never knew grampa but he and my sister had been staying in the house and he was cleaning the sunroom when he turned and saw an older man watching him. The man didn't do anything just stood and looked at him. He described him as wearing a stripped/plaid short sleeve shirt and khaki pants. Later, they were looking at grampas shoes to see what to keep and my Brother in law was looking at the shirts in the closet and said to that he knew it was grampa he saw because he recognized the shirt hanging there in the closet as the one the man was wearing, It was a shirt grampa wore alot. Grampa has not shown himself to anyone else to my knowledge except in a dream that my husband had where he was told to make sure he took care of me. I immediatly wanted to go do evp work and stuff to see if I could experience my grampa but then just couldn't do it.

I didn';t know who to share with since my husband is not a believer in anything and this would really freak my mom out so wanted to share here. I think I will try to do some investigating on my next trip home to kansas.

Thanks for letting me share.

Lendy

It's comforting to know for sure that he is still watching over your family. Thanks for sharing!!! Good Luck with your investigating when you go back there.

That's really awesome. And there are a lot of us here who don't have anyone else to talk to, so don't feel alone! There's a lot of spouses who don't believe what we do, or can't quite make that leap. My hubby doesn't really understand what I'm talking about, either. He's very skeptical, and doesn't really get why it's a big deal to me. I understand, and I know I'm not the only one. Glad to hear you have something exciting to look forward to when you go visit! That will be a real treat, especially if it provides some evidence for you, or even just a personal experience. Keep us updated! Very Happy

Hello Lendy,
I believe the case of your grand father it is a case of a loving spirit that can move on but chooses not to. Many people that pass on 'when they're ready to' stick around as a shadow or ghost to ensure that the people they care about are doing well before they move on. Because as a shadow they can still communicate if they have to or want to as your grand father did with your brother-in-law. After they move on they can still communicate but not as easily. Your grandpa appeared to your brother-in-law most likely on purpose, knowing he wasn't going to startle him too much, to ensure him that he was still around watching over everyone. Possibly because your sister was still upset over his passing maybe? Or was brother-in-law messing with the sun flower bed? hehe

Spirits like your grand father are able to freely go where ever they like, and they do. To visit their loved ones and see how they're doing. Grand-Dad wants to make sure everyone's alright.

I have had a few experiences with people I knew who had passed on. They allowed me to understand they were there, and that it was definitely them. Spirits know very well who, of solid body, knows they're there. They also know how much that person can receive of their communication attempts. It's scary, I won't deny it. But it's also relaxing in cases like this because you know that they are alright, and know that they are there for the purpose of making sure you, and other loved ones, are okay.

I know you didn't ask for an explanation like this. I hope you don't mind me putting my two cents in.
