It's good to see the site back up. I've been jonesin' for some time.
Maybe for GhoStock instead of sticking to just one new city, alternate to a different city every six months or year. A lot of the suggestions people have thrown in are all good, even NOLA. I don't think it's too early, either. Like someone else said, I'm sure the city would be more than happy to host the convention, especially if it helps their economy. I think if we do decide to do New Orleans, we should stick to sites that are/were well-known for being haunted prior to Katrina. Places like Myrtles Plantation, Madame Laveaux's grave, some of the cemeteries, some parts of the French Quarter, etc.
I think a semi-world tour would be great, albeit expensive. Here's where I think we could do the event:
New Orleans, LA
Washington, D.C. (lots of haunted places there, a lot of them tied to American History)
Salem, MA
Gettysburg, VA
Somewhere in California - lots of haunted places there
Estes Park, CO
New York, NY
London, England (that might be a bit out of reach, unless everyone who plans to go can get their passports before thy go, but would be good for members who live out there, and the place has more haunted places than we have members)
Just to name a few.
As far as any site issues since the restore, the only problem I have is the theme. Text in posts come up OK, but when someone quotes another member, the quoted text appears in a charcoal grey, making it very hard to read against the black background. Only way to fix this for now is to change the color of the text in the quote to bold white, until more themes are downloaded in the future. _________________ PRG

Ghost hunting is a potentially hazardous activity due to numerous environmental variables. Outdoor ghost hunts typically take place in dark areas such as cemeteries and old buildings which may contain unseen hazards that pose risk of bodily harm, damage to property or even death. We do not recommend anyone venture into an unfamiliar area without first surveying potential hazards during daylight hours.
