Darkness Radio Dave Schrader sent me the link to this clip. What do you all think? If its not hoaxed, its pretty darn interesting footage...

"This footage appears to show a ghost train at the location of paranormal activity," says paranormalfootage. "Locals report hearing a train going past, though the nearest track is 5 miles away. Investigators found nothing, until they got their footage home. It was only then that they see the ghostly outline of a train appear where train tracks used to be, 93 years ago." So is this for real, or is it a clever example of post-production video trickery? If it's real, this video could demonstrate how an event -- especially on that is repeated on a regular basis -- might be recorded on the environment. Some unknown mechanism causes this ghostly recording to be played back occasionally. If this video is legitimate, it is a fascinating and important one indeed. There are some questions, however: Does the train look too small compared to the man? Why do we only see the ghost image of the front of the train? The camera seems to pan away from the man, as if to allow room for the train image.

Interesting footage, if its legit then its phenomenal! I do too wonder why the train was so perfectly in front of the guy.

I had that video sent to me a couple of months back.As far as I can remember that one also had some sound.The uploader of the video said the train might have been that low to the ground because of the old track bed and tracks was not in place.It is very qustionable.On my youtube channel I do have some paranormal groups in my FRIENDS that have some great videos and EVP,But nothing solid.

Fascinating video! I too, would like to see the entire video, but looks pretty interesting!

I believe it has been faked. It looks as if this image has been superimposed onto the film then played back fast. Its too short to be a train; there aren't any more rail cars but just an engine? Also, the back of it appears to be flat like a cut-out just pasted on. Its just too fishy and when the train appears, the film jumps. looks neat! But not convincing evidence in my opinion. Nowadays with all this technology its way too easy to "create" these sorts of special effects.

I'm not saying I don't believe that a phantom has ever been captured on film, I just don't think this is and example of that authentically.

Several period "details" are missing from this "train" that my husband who is a History Professor was thorough enough to point out.

1.) The center of light. That light is at the guy's waist. Wrong. A train is going to be very much taller than that and the center of light should be around or above his head.

2.) That particular train in the footage did not come around til the 30's. 90 years ago it would have been the old fashioned steam engine style train.

3.) Steam Engine style trains have a giant grill called a "cow catcher" on the front of it. This style train in the footage is missing that.

These are specific historical anomolies spotted in the video which give me doubts about its authenticity.

If you pause it.. it looks a little like a spider web with a spider in the center.. it is to close to the camera and the light is 'over exsposing' the spider to make it look like it is the light source.
you can even see some bugs in the web.. the lead guy walks to the right of the web the camera man passes it on the left.. i wonder how close camera guy was to a tree maybe??

I think Epictetus has called this one! It looks like they are using an IR light source which will cause the spider and bugs to light up bright like we see it.

I does look good in real time like the front of the train is going by.
