Later in the future, we will be conducting an investigation at the Old Bryce State Mental Institution in the near future.
I have never been and will probably not get a chance to survey the site in the daylight hours.
My concern is one of pure safety and forsight. If anyone here has ever been before and has prior knowledge of any dangerous or unstable corridors within the dilapidated old structure, please share your knowledge before we head out!

Since I was born and raised in Alabama (before I moved to georgia 4 years ago, I always wanted to go to Bryce. I thought that they did not allow investigations. When did they open it up. I remember a radio station in Birmingham got permission for a group from north Alabama to go there one Halloween season. they all heard (and it was recorded) an old style telephone ringing in the distance, but all of their group was right there with them. _________________ Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body,

We've done our investigation there and it will probably be the last. The traffic there and distractions were making it extremely difficult to complete a thorough investigation. Between trespassers and people randomly tramping throught the premisis and the police trying to keep people out- unfortunately, the law enforcment has had to seriously crack down on people coming to this property and trespassing.
It is near impossible to investigate this property at this point effectively. I would not recommend anyone else trying to do so any time soon.

Ghost hunting is a potentially hazardous activity due to numerous environmental variables. Outdoor ghost hunts typically take place in dark areas such as cemeteries and old buildings which may contain unseen hazards that pose risk of bodily harm, damage to property or even death. We do not recommend anyone venture into an unfamiliar area without first surveying potential hazards during daylight hours.
