Yes I know - short notice. But hey - thats how we roll around here! :p
We're looking for about 9 investigators to return to Brenau University in Gainesville GA this coming Saturday night. This investigation will be open to any eligible Ghost Hounds. Note that eligibility means you have attended at least one Ghost Hounds meeting within the last 4 months (yes - GhoStock counts) and you have turned in your criminal background check.
New Hounds are encouraged to sign up for this. This will be a good training run for new comers.
Please reply to this thread ONLY if you can attend this coming Saturday night, the 24'th.

Hey John,
You can generally get a bg check at the county sheriff's department where you live--I think you can get it while you wait. Once you have it, go ahead and fax it to 1-866-299-7440--that's an internet fax number, so it'll only be saved as a digital copy and not printed out.

We are meeting at 9:00 PM in the parking lot next to the Victorian House in Academy.
Directions (from Kathy) get off 985 at exit 22. Turn left, go to the 7th or 8th stop light (I can't remember which), which is at Academy Street. Turn right onto Academy (you can't turn left). Then it's the 3rd building on the right. Right next to the Northeast Georgia History Center. Street number is 406 Academy. Parking lot is right next to it.
This is a larger team that we normally work with, but Kathy has told me we can split into 2 or even 3 teams possibly to work each location.

Hey there John...
Sorry I missed this reply. You can go to your local sherifs office. Just tell them you need a criminal background check. It will cost you $10 - $25 typically.

| I was going to post this in the thread about the background checks but I couldn't immediately find it, and I was too lazy to search for it. The Suwanee Police Department (close to the intersection of Lawrenceville-Suwanee Road (or Suwanee Dam Road) and Buford Highway) does background checks 24/7/52/365 as the lady told us. You go in, fill out a form, leave it with them, and pick it up in 24 hours. It's only $10.00. When Greg went to get his, it was $25.00 and they mailed it to him about a week later. So if you're close to Suwanee, it's really convenient. |
