Hiya my friends!
This past weekend was a training weekend for new NAPpers. Well as usual we do that in the 'famous' backyard. To no one's surprise we got some fabulous evidence back there and some new things I haven't seen before. Some was debunked, the rest is out to the judge and jury. Its not unusual to capture mists....for the most part either black or a violet color. This time we captured a red mist...but it was divided into 3 parts, side by side...separated by regular blackness. Then throughout the consecutive shots it combined and became a solid red mist. I'm wondering about this one. Anyone out there had this experience before. Either all our camera's were having a rare night or the backyard was. Another instance, Nathan and Robert saw an Indian man. I wouldn't have 'thunk' it but they described him almost exactly the same. Attire and all. Very odd indeed. We also captured some other things and had some varied experiences. At one point in time my K2 was going nuts, I could see 3 red shadows, not the above mentioned mists (we captured them in photo's) and felt as though something was coming after me to the point that my skin was getting numb. LOL, Robert, Nathan and our Patrick (last name French) got in front of me like a defensive line on a football team. Afterwards I laughed but at the time I think they had reason. During this investigation/training Larry also got scratched and has no recollection of it at all. Odd night in the ole' backyard it was. Very odd night. I've decided since my first book that came out last week was Haunted Southern Nights, Ghost Hunting, The Basics+ that the next one will definitely be about the Backyard. Its due after almost 17 years of trying to figure the bloody thing out. I can't wait until my Hound friends make it over for a fun night of investigation.

That's an interesting yard you have there, Deborah. I always enjoy reading your posts about it. Any activity in your house per chance ? How cool that you can train your team in your own yard.

Ghost hunting is a potentially hazardous activity due to numerous environmental variables. Outdoor ghost hunts typically take place in dark areas such as cemeteries and old buildings which may contain unseen hazards that pose risk of bodily harm, damage to property or even death. We do not recommend anyone venture into an unfamiliar area without first surveying potential hazards during daylight hours.
