I have started a self-defense/security/surveillance equipment business.
One of the items I am lucky enough to get from our distributor is a wide assortment of video cameras, digital video recorders, and all of the equipment that goes with it.
We have an assortment of kits, including a kit that includes monitor, complete DVR system, quadralizer (which allows 4-16 camera feeds to be shown on the monitor and recorded on DVR at once), and between 4-16 either wired or wireless cameras.
I can sell these to our ghost hunting community for wholesale plus shipping. If anyone wants more info, please send me a message on ghosthounds or reply to this thread.
I have used the 4-camera system and this is extremely high quality at a very affordable wholesale price.
A couple other items I have that might be of interest to our community, we have a snake cam like what plumbers use, and what was used in the movies The Rock and Air Force 1 by military special forces to get video feed of locations one cannot get into themselves.
Also, IR low light illuminators, which can create enough light to shoot video or pictures in extremely low level light conditions.

OOooooo... sounds like that's got potential!!! What is the price range of an item like that? I don't recall seeing one on any of the ghost hunting equipment sales pages.
This is the info I sent to fireman earlier in a message. I will compile a list of items that I have that may have a paranormal use and post it a little later.
As far as IR illuminators, I have three available right now. All are battery operated, with a rechargeable battery pack. I have a 30 feet max I can get you for $32.00, an 85 ft max for $99.00, and a 180 ft max for $250. Regular retail is $48, $148, and $358 respectively. All of our shipping is flat $6.50 anywhere in the US.
Cameras, right now we have a substantial number of web and bullet cameras, and a snake cam (like used in the movie The Rock) to get video feed of rooms you cannot actually get into. We have cameras of each type, indoor and outdoor, b/w and color, and regular and with night vision for extreme low level light.
I will get you details about those a little later today. I have to actually sit down and put down some literature about them in a word doc and will cut and paste it to you a little later.
Are you looking for an all-inclusive kit or pieces separately? I can do both. We have kits that have the DVR, 4,8, or 16 cameras (wireless or combination wired and wireless or straight wired), the receiver, the monitor and all connections and power supplies. I can also get the pieces separately, like if you already have one or more parts. Depending on the kit, I can get them between $500-$1000 off retail price.
As far as the snake cam, for anyone interested, there is 29.5 in of flexibile cable. Specs on it: 1/4" color ccd camera, minimum illumination: 0.2 lux/f1.4, power source 12VDC, resolution 350 lines, lens: 4.0 mm.. Retail is $548. I can get it for $400. So, off the bat, save $148.
Below are the details of one of the systems I have access to. Everything is the same...except I am offering it to you at $2,200, not the price shown.
4 Channel Wireless Digital Video Recording Complete System
This surveillance system allows you to install up to 4 wireless cameras to digitally record all activity. This DVR has full networking capability and uses a GeoVision DVR card which allows you to view live video on the Internet. This video recording system is perfect for smaller areas. Includes all cameras, cables and monitor.
This complete surveillance system includes the following plus a just-for-you discount:
(1) PC-based 4 channel DVR running Windows XP operating system. (DVR-4CH) (retail $1,740)
(4) Day/Night Color Wireless Bullet Cameras (BC-30GC)(retail $446 each)
(4) 2.4 GHz Video Receivers (TR-2.4)(retail $232 each)
(1) 17 inch LCD Monitor (LCD-17)(retail $980)
If you bought these items separately this system would cost you $4,504.00. But by purchasing the complete system you only pay $3,169.00...a savings of $1,335.00.
I have recently been approved as THE southeast's authorized rep for sales, sevicing, and installation for both MACE security systems and Aventura Technology.
Mace is one of the best known, internationally, for its surveillance systems. Aventura has actually been contracted for designing and supplying all the security systems for the UN, most of the largest casinos in vegas, NASA, and several Fortune500 companies.
Both of these are the real deal.
