Ok, flog me. I know it has been awhile, but I went back over some video and this time saw some orb activity.
I know what our general views on orbs are, but I thought this was a little strange because they are all going in the same direction around the stairs. Some are hard to see, so later on I will probably edit it and put a time stamp on where I see the orbs.
Hopefully I can get this thing to work right here.

hey deb -
I watched this over and over. I was only able to see four the first segment, one of the second segment, and the last one. I am sure that is due to the loss in translation from your download through Youtube.
I am not a supporter of orb theories -too many variables, to be sure.
however, yours indeed do some weird things -move straight down the hall rather than up, sometimes move differently than the airflow caused by the investigators, even flash like the last one.
one thing you can do to try to prove/disprove-view them on a large monitor and use a program which will allow you to slow-motion the clip. this will allow you to see what is really there. and if they are bugs, you will most likely be able to detect them.
I had a situation on a hunt where the orbs that were "impossible to be anything living, considering the area and the darkness we were investisgating, actually turned out to be bugs. flying bugs. what looked liked orbs in the darkness were, in fact, bugs!
try the blow up thing. and maybe even try to lighten up the video -Geek can tell you how. this will perhaps show the orbs in question better.
and then again -you might have something. especially that last one which looks like it flares and then extiguishes in milliseconds.

Crap, I just posted to this and it went away.
Here goes again. Cross fingers.
Wingedguy, you have a good eye. After I uploaded the video. I think one of the orbs was out of frame. And I do think that at least two of the orbs are insects.
My orb theory is such:
We are just starting out in this field. I know many orbs can be dust or bugs, which is why I don't get too excited over them. But I don't know that they can all be explained away.
At crime scenes 40 yrs ago, if hair folicles were obtained, they pretty much could only suggest at the color or texture of someone who had been on the scene. Now, a single hair is able to tell exactly who had been there since we are able to obtain their DNA through it. Not all hair samples can do this, only the ones that have enough of a skin tag at the end of it. But at the time the hair was gathered, no one knew about this. They were just gathering evidence.
We are also able to solve cold-cases on samples were evidence was gathered and kept in case something broke in the case down the road. Even if it didn't seem at the time that it could be of much help.
I feel like this is such a new field of study, that one of our main jobs at this time is to keep as much evidence as we can that we are not able to completely debunk. If we are sitting on the fence over some evidence, while I believe it is important to keep our skeptical side healthy and strong, lets at least keep open to the possiblity that it may also be in an area that we might learn more about as we go along.

Ghost hunting is a potentially hazardous activity due to numerous environmental variables. Outdoor ghost hunts typically take place in dark areas such as cemeteries and old buildings which may contain unseen hazards that pose risk of bodily harm, damage to property or even death. We do not recommend anyone venture into an unfamiliar area without first surveying potential hazards during daylight hours.
