Helen, Ga

Finally had a chance to look over some of the evidence that we got at the investigation at Helen, Ga.

Some of what I noted:

1. Loretta and I were on the second floor. In response to some direct questions that we ask, there are musical tones that respond.

2. On the third floor, Loretta and I are experiencing some activity. At that time, the video camera catches what may be a mist trying to form. Some have suggested that it may be dust stired up or or breath. Watching it on a large screen TV, I know it is not anyone breathing. It may be dust, but it just doesn't quite look like that either. I was more suspicious of it because of the noise we were hearing right before we saw the mist gathering. If I can learn how to upload video, I will put it here.

and our survey says:

woman's voice. a soft spoken word which is definitely there and detached from the street noise and conversations on the lower floors. can't exactly figure out what she says. may be a name in response to a previous question asking the same.

it is said just after we leave the attic.

Hey, Deb!

Can you send me the files? I have 2 evp's as well.....

One is so loud and close to the mic that the audio "clipped". I can't really make out what it says.

The other is right after I thought I saw someone in the doorway of the room out of the corner of my eye. I was telling Eeek I thought I saw someone and then there is a faint woman's voice after that. It sounds like she is saying "they're coming".

I'm anxious to see what others think about the mist. It was really cool!

I left my dvr on the second floor and all i can hear is cars going by. I will keep listening to it though to see if i can hear anything. As far as pictures, go, i have some pics of orbs, but not sure what to say about them. Once again, i had fun. Very Happy

After going over everything I came up blank on photos, video, and audio. I have heard both of the EVPs that Denise captured and they are both wild.

after clipping down the portion in the attic where the recorders were left on their own a woman's voice speaks -

and a name is spoken!

Hello debmcg7, I live near Helen, in Clayton Ga.. I go to Helen often and I was wondering... is this a private loction that you investigated. It sounds really interesting? Or if you know any places near Clayton Ga that is known/said to be haunted?

Stacie, this was a Ghost Hounds investigation on Feb. 10th.

I haven't heard much about Clayton - but haven't had much opportunity to research either. I'll let you know if I hear of anything.

Ok, it is a little disapointing but with the help of my son, I think I can debunk my mist forming theory.

There was a long bristled brush hanging on a nail beside me that I think I brushed against right before the 'mist' formed. It did look like it could be dust particles.

The musical note that I heard. It may be eletrical equipment. Neither my video camcorder or my camera makes that noise, but I will check with Loretta to see if her equipment makes any musical notes to get the attention of the owner. (i.e. low battery) She was having a problem with her camera.

Stacy. This is the first investigation that I have been on with the Ghost Hounds other than the one I went on at Ghoststock at Tybee Island. I am sure that there may be interesting areas to investigate in Clayton Co, but Patrick, Pam or Denisee would be the best to contact to look into investigations in that area.

Denisee, I have to learn how to upload video. I am going to try to get to the next meeting. If you are going to be there, I will bring my camera.

Yeah, Clayton Ga is in the mountains at the North Carolina state line.
