last saturday me and my guys went to old unidilla baptist church cemetery and did an investigation. we found the place on shadow lands.it said that it was known to be very creepy and people have found a skull sitting on top of the grav stone and weird stuff like that you know like some body have been there grave digging or something. when we went it was for just recon to see if it would be worth bringing the equipment there so the only thing I brought was my voice recorder. when we first got to town we asked for directions and they told us about a lady will chase you away from the place so I wanted to see if that was true or just urban legend.when I first got there I got a feeling or torment and a feeling that something was there but didnt want to be. also got a feeling of being watched and we heard footsteps in the woods but immediately dismissed as animals.I had my voice recorder going the whole time. when we got ready to go I was going to go ask questions to see if I get any response but when I got out of the car my friend got very spooked and said he saw something coming at us I didnt see anything butu we went any way. so I think the story of the lady is just an urban legend but what I heard on the voice recorder was creepy.the voice said HELP ME F**K. like it was wanting help to get out of there. thats particular place had a church there but for some reason they tore the church down and relocated. go figure.

Warning! Warning!

Tech mode post those with week constitutions and small children should be asked to leave the room before continuing.

Warning! Warning!

Tech mode about to commence.

[Tech mode]

First you will need a cable that con be purchased from radio shack or any local electronics store. This cable has a male earphone style jack on both ends.

Connect this cable from the earphone jack on you recorder to the microphone or line in jack on your sound card.

In the lower left hand corner of your screen, near the clock, you should see an icon that looks like a speaker. Double click this icon and your sound card control panel will come up.

On this control panel click the mute check boxes for all inputs except the microphone or line in jack. Set the Volume on the control panel for you selected item to max and the balance to mid way. Be sure not to click the mute all check box.

Set the volume on your tape recorder to around 1/3 to 1/2 volume.

Close the control panel.

From the start menu select Programs, accessories, entertainment, and the sound recorder.

Start the tape playing. Hit the screen button on the sound recorder that has a red dot (The record button)

Wait until tape finishes the section you are looking for. Stop the tape stop the sound recorder.

Click the little speaker again. Unmute the other inputs and hit the play button on the sound recorder. Listen and verify that the EVP was recorded.

Repeat until you are happy with the results.

Set the slide bar on the recorder to a time mark just before the EVP. Click edit and Delete before current position then slide the slider to a time mark just after the EVP and click edit and Delete after current position.

Now you should have the EVP only, and if you have sound working software can clean it up and make it louder.

Now click File and Save. Give it a name and verify that the file is in WAV format.

Done.

Good luck.
