Some of them seem like they are, but I just can't tell. Any video recommendations? I tend to think that the ones where the person clearly doesn't know how to work the camera might be. This one, I'm sure isn't but I just couldn't resist posting it. If anyone knows Spanish, could you please translate it for me?

When they see whatever it is they are seeing, they are yelling at it and saying look, look, What is your name and that is all I can make out. I am not sure if they are real or not Casper. I am not very familiar with YouTube.
My broken spanish......the only words I understand are......Look, look ....little girl ......please...and the word "mas" which could mean a few things, but I think means "more" in this one. I think he's asking her to talk "more".
But we've discussed this particular video before, check it out:
As far as what is or isn't real on YouTube........ What is or isn't real anywhere on the web? I guess you would have to definitely consider the source and all the implications - where/when/who/how the video was taken.
I like this one - it definitely seems to look like a little girl wearing glasses to me. But IMHO, I don't believe it's a paranormal video.
But then again, maybe if I knew all the information I would feel differently.

Thanks Denisee!!! I never could open that link and was wondering what you all were looking at! Okay here is another that I think may possibly is real......
But.......given that you can hear the crickets in the background, I would have to say the temps are at least "warm" and this looks to me like it could be swamp gas.
So, even though it's a cool video, I don't think this one is paranormal either. Sorry!
But again - if I had all the facts and understanding about how things like swamp gas work and whether or not that was possible in this particular location - I might think differently.

The video with the baby freaks me the heck out! I'd be moving out of that house ASAP if I were the parents. You couldn't pay me to stay in that house. _________________ http://www.myspace.com/taylorsgapeach

It is well done, but I think the little girl in the cemetery one is fake. Notice when "she" turns her head and the eyes glow, they added in a sound effect to dramatize the moment.
Usually amateur video's would try to dramatize it by replaying that part in slow motion, not adding artificial sound.

Living person. Obviously they are using "Nightshot" Infrared on this camera as indicated by the green hue of the video. If you have a camcorder with "Nightshot", turn it on and have someone look at the camera. The IR light reflects rather nicely off of the retina, causing anyones eyes to "glow" in a spooky, "paranormal" way.
BTW - this retina reflection is the same phenomena that causes "red eye" in flash still photos. _________________ Patrick Burns

Personally , I view Youtube as entertainment puposes only. Its where amatuer video buffs go to post their experiments. Again, its going to subject to criticism and speculation just like any evidence any one of us, as "credible" investigators would submit as evidence. We just choose to display it in a forum of peers rather than most internet idiots looking for the latest issue of Bumfights or Saddams hanging.

Ghost hunting is a potentially hazardous activity due to numerous environmental variables. Outdoor ghost hunts typically take place in dark areas such as cemeteries and old buildings which may contain unseen hazards that pose risk of bodily harm, damage to property or even death. We do not recommend anyone venture into an unfamiliar area without first surveying potential hazards during daylight hours.
