Calvary Cemetery is located in East Los Angeles. My husbands grandparents and uncle are both laid to rest there.
On a Friday afternoon, we went to go pay our respects, it was approximately 2pm and the place was empty as most people were at work.
I captured some nice EVP's and there are at least two I've posted that I believe say my name.
There is one that I've never been able to identify the language; you'll know which one it is upon listening. What I do know is that there are a lot of gypsies laid to rest there as well. But I dont know from what countries or what languages they spoke.
I used my Sony TCM-354V Cassette-Corder, analog tape, with an external microphone.
Enjoy the listen!
Ciao! M.

Updated Post - Added EVP clip (Sept 10, 2006)
This was recorded at Calvary Cemetery mid-week, an empty cemetery, broad daylight. This clip is roughly 51-52 seconds long; the EVP (a woman?) is humming or singing and there is and intermittent lapse that she cant be heard, then she can be heard again.
This is a 16 second clip of the EVP. What I did was select the portions that she can be heard humming/singing and placed the two sections onto one clip. I also cleaned-up the extraneous noise infractions.

Ghost hunting is a potentially hazardous activity due to numerous environmental variables. Outdoor ghost hunts typically take place in dark areas such as cemeteries and old buildings which may contain unseen hazards that pose risk of bodily harm, damage to property or even death. We do not recommend anyone venture into an unfamiliar area without first surveying potential hazards during daylight hours.
