Good day Hounds!

This has been several years in the making, but its time to debut our own haunted tour of Lawrenceville!

http://ghosthounds.com/content-60.html

We did sort of a "dry run" impromteu version of this at our meeting on October 29'th. It was very "rough" around the edges; totally recalled from memory. But the feedback was overwhelmingly positive, so we are going to expand it, and start doing these on a regular basis! Smile

I'd been planning to launch our own tour late last year. Babs, Pam and I had been gearing up for this as far back as July. But it sort of fell by the wayside as I wasn't sure what my shooting schedule for the new TV show was looking like this October.

I know - November is an odd time to debut this; right AFTER Halloween, but its as good a time as any, and guarantees it will be refined and top-notch come NEXT October! Smile

As stated on the web page, our tour is going to have a much more unique angle to it than many of the commercial tours you've become acostomed to. This isn't just a "history lesson" by actors and actresses in period clothing - you're getting the stories and first-hand accounts from experienced paranormal investigators that have been doing the actual research!

Another unique aspect - we'll try accomodate everyone and work around peoples schedules. Can't manage a tour at night but have some time for your group in the afternoon? No problem - the "creep" factor wont be nearly as intense in the daylight, but we'll try our best! Wink

We're going to start with a few more "dressed rehearsals" and when these happen, I'll post the times here. These will be done free of charge to Ghost Hounds subscribers. The catch? Your unabashed, brutally honest input and feedback! What did you like? What did you hate? What could we add that would make it even better?

Stay tuned for the dates and times! Dance

Great! A real ghost tour with people who actually KNOW what they are dealing with! Lucky me it is only 1 hour away from my house! Applause

Thanks Juno! (cool avatar btw - love those eyes!)

That’s the hope; to make a more unique, realistic tour. I've no problem with the tours led by people in period clothing - they can be fun; the theatrics and all! And for most people? That’s what the average joe wants I think. But it’s been done to death (pardon the pun) and if you’ve seen one tour done in that style, you’ve seen them all. Just my personal opinion – take it or leave it.

I think with the resurgence of interest in the paranormal the past few years that a certain demographic of people will appreciate something that concentrates on actual research with real ghost hunters vs. recited tales. I also think there is room for both types of tours to peacefully coexist. Again, ours wont be for small children, and given my strong objection to children on investigations, no children under the age of 12... possibly 13 will be allowed.

This tour will be the polar opposite of any you've ever been on, THAT I can guarantee! I predict we'll not only find our niche, we may even pioneer an entirely new genre of paranormal tours; not unlike a chartered game hunting expedition led by an experienced deer or bear hunter.

Time will tell! Cool

Hey "DeadManWalkin"

No - you didn't miss it. The website mishap has kept me occupied the last couple weeks. And with December already very busy, this might have to wait till January... possibly Feburary after GhoStock. But we'll see! Don't worry - I'll let you all know when we are ready to start! Wink

Thanks Hoot! I'm glad you enjoyed it - as rough around the edges as it was.

Its still "in the works" - I'm currently doing some more research on the downtown area. I hope to have some more info to add besides that which Michelle, Pam and I had already done.

Smile Something IS in the works, but will be different than what was originally planned late last year. Sorry, but I can't give any more details until it is a done deal - hopefully later this summer if all goes as planned! Clown
