My team investigated the haunted house and the RR tracks. Several of us saw an apparition by the tracks although I dont think we were able to get it on camera. In the haunted house we felt strong energies in several areas. During our recording session in the Hallway of Doors we heard moans and music playing audibly, although you cant hear it on our tape. The security guards with us assured us that the sounds we were hearing were not recorded playback for the haunted house attraction. On the recording I took in that same location I have 2 evps. Right after Denise says, "Whats your name?" You hear a little girls voice saying, "Hip Hop" as if she is playing a game and then immediately after "Hop" you can hear a womans voice saying, "Dorothy" in response to our question. All in all, our investigation was very productive and we cant wait to get back there again!! One funny moment in the exhibit was when the guards had switched the regular lighting to the stage lights. Unbeknownst to me, that had activated the motion sensors for the body bags hanging from hooks on the ceiling in one room. As I wandered off by myself to check out a strong energy I was sensing, I tripped the air cannon which shot a blast of warm air on my face with a loud noise and caused me to jump back a foot into the next room. As I leaped into that room, the body bags started bobbing up and down. Talk about something making your heart skip a beat or two!!! Im sure the energy I had sensed in that direction laughed his butt off looking at the expression of a silent scream on my face LOL It almost made me wander if that spirit had lured me to that area on purpose for some fun. _________________ "Frankly, Scallop...I dont give a clam!"

I think we had some significant findings throughout the park.
On that night, the temperature hovered around 77. However, one team documented via video several temp drops down to 39 that seemed to coincide with some emf spikes! That is awesome!
We also have several evp's and at least one AVP (possibly 2) that were not captured on the dvr's.
I think it's safe to say that Six Flags is definitely active.
I'm looking forward to a return visit! |

TeeHee I have to remember Eek's line of thought from now on.

Yes. We will be returning to Six Flags to investigate again in the Fall. Geek will post details probably around September.
We are returning to Six Flags for a day of fun on July 28th! Please check the "off topic" section and "sign off" if you are planning to attend. Spoofy needs a head count! |

This is the one thing that I can not figure out. How can a ghost or spirit be in the Huanted House? That building was there until just a few yrs ago. Can some one help me understand this? Its been bugging me for a few days. Also, did you find anything at the Crystal Pistol? _________________ The only greatness for man is Immortality - James Dean |

Hiya Pepper! First of all, Six Flags is built on what was once a dairy farm. There is also evidence that a civil war encampment was on the property.
About the haunted house in particular - I went into that investigation completely skeptical. I thought we could just waltz in there and debunk any activity. I was wrong.
I can only give you my personal theory about why it's active. We all know what significance the history of a place has when we're talking about paranormal activity, right?
It seems that it is normal practice for Theme Parks to collect and salvage parts of old buildings to use within the parks. There were some features within the Haunted House that were over 100 years old.
If we assume that it's possible for a ghost to be attached to what they are familiar with and pieces of their home are shipped across the country, couldn't it stand to reason that the ghost/spirit would go with it? Just a theory. Of course there is always the possibility of residual activity as well.
For an interesting podcast featuring Six Flags Management about our visit there, listen to:
