Hey Hounds!

Yeah, I'm still alive! I've been swamped lately with work and other activities...and I have been absent from the boards. But no more! I've been busy planning a little "get together" for the members of my group and any Hounds that would like to attend.

WGPRS is hosting a dinner/hunt at Spoons Restaurant in Newnan on Saturday, June 24th, at 7PM. This is the same place that the ladies held their meeting last month, and I became interested in the idea of a return trip there for everyone after that.

This will be a buffet style dinner of baked lasagna, caesar salad (with Chef Carol's special caesar dressing), home-baked garlic bread, tea, and dessert. Dance The meal will run around $15, plus gratuity. We'd love to see lots of smiling Hounds at the table with us...otherwise I'll be forced to eat 50 pounds of lasagna all by myself. Shocked

Please let me know if you can make it that night...I'll need to give Debbie a "head count" sometime around June 15th.

Hope to see lots of ya there!

Joey

No you won't. Because I will probably eat about one or two pounds of that lasagna myself! How? Skip the salad, that's how! Great....I can smell it right now, too!

Can I come!! OH PLEASE! LOL...But where exactly is this place?
I'm in Jacksonville FL but would love to come up and meet everyone. Our team may be interested too but is that too many people? LOL

We have nothing planned that weekend too so we would be open. Please send me more info so I can see if some of our team is also interested.

Hey Helen!

We'd love to have you there...you must really like lasagna though, cause from Jacksonville, it's gonna be about a 7 or 8 hour drive to get to Newnan (just guessing). Send me a PM if you'd like more info about it Very Happy

Ok guys!

You let my thread slip off the main page! Shame, shame Sad

I'll need to give Debbie a "head count" sometime around June 15th so that she can plan for the meal. Anyone that is definitely planning on attending, please let me know within the next week.

Joey

Hey Joey! We're still trying to see if we can make arrangements to make it down there.

What time do you want folks to arrive and how long will the hunt be afterwards? We'll let you know a definite by Wednesday.

Thanks,

We've set the time for 7pm-11pm for that night. We'll break up into smaller groups and begin the hunt as soon as everyone gorges themselves on lasagna and takes a nap afterwards. Wink

There is definitely still time to jump in, Fay...plenty of food. We'd love to see you there!

Hi, Joey!

You should have an accurate head count by now. Can you tell us what the price per person is with gratiuity so we can come prepared?

Thanks!

The meal costs will be the same as they were when the ladies held their meeting there...$15 plus gratuity...I'm not sure if the gratuity is added to the bill or left to the customer to decide.

Hey, Joey....

Thanks for the info. Just wanted to make sure you were ordering by accurate headcount and not by the constant reference to 50 lbs of lasagna in figuring the price....

Hi Joey,

The gratuity isn't added to the bill, but paid separately. Also, reminder that they only take cash, no credit cards, so everyone will want to hit the atm on the way down.

I won't be able to come, but GG is coming. I hate budgets sometimes Sad . I know you'll have a great time.
