there is an ATM in the Varsity, though not recommended as these have a tendancy to surcharge up to $2.00 for the usage.
but it is there if one needs it -just beyond the onion room and down the hall from the men's room. _________________ "just because you can't SEE them, doesn't mean they're not there!"
Supergirl - it's easy! Just say "Walk me two dogs, an FO and sling some strings!
That way, you get two hotdogs -(eat the onions, everyone else will!) a Frosted Orange drink and some french fries in a box to go!
Or - Ring one with a steak and a large PC and give me a joe-ree walking.
Which means you'll get a hamburger, onion rings 2 half-pints of chocolate milk (yum!) and a cup of ice and a cup of coffee with a lid, so you can take it out.
I'm really annoyed that I can't come with you. It'll prolly be years before you go back there again!
OK, since we're going to the Varsity, does anyone have any good food suggestions? What's good there? And didn't someone say they change your oil there too?

I know I'm in my own little world - but it's OK. They know me here.
Well, the rings are to die for, the fries and skin on and out of this world and yes, you will get your quota of grease for the year with the order of either, but hey, you only go around once so enjoy.
I think their chocolate milk is the best I've ever tasted. I always order it with the chili dog - kills the heartburn! (but remember I'm an old geezer). The hamburgers are good as well. Other stuff is fine, but folks go there for the dogs or the burgers.
Ohhhhh and whatever you do, don't forget a fried pie! Heaven!! I actually buy extras and keep them in my freezer. Am especially fond of the peach.

TWO YANKEE DOGS AND STRINGS!
Sometimes I really miss living in Atlanta.
Ev and I will probably show up around 6:30 and grab some food with everyone, but we'll have to leave early.
We're going to see the Rockettes at the Fox!
I want to hear all about the EVP seminar.
I was so sad to miss it, but I had company in town and flight schedules got a little mixed up.
A little late here, but thought I'd let those who participated know that Aimee and I had a great time hanging out with and talking to everyone at The Varsity. We have really enjoyed the meetings we've attended and hope to make those in the future.
I spoke of a large cemetary that night and upon investigating found that the name I mentioned was correct. The last time Aimee and I went it was open at night. It is noteworthy that one of the highest rated Mexican restaurants in Atlanta is very close by. Here's a link to tempt anyone interested in a possible hunt:
The place gets packed early on and it's possible to have a long wait. Maybe a week night would be better. It would probably not do as a GH meeting place because space is very limited. I have a Yahoo map, address and phone number of the Cemetary. According to GH protocol I won't post any specifics here. If anyone from the last meeting is interested PM me. Patrick, let me know if you'd like to organize a small group to go.
Finally, I must admit Aimee and I went to Athens Tuesday and ended up eating at the Varsity there. That's a bit much grease for a short period of time but we love those chili dawgs and rings! As you know they have their own lingo. In Athens, when they said, "Whatcha have, Whatcha have?" I said, "The Triple Bypass Special" and they just looked at me like I was crazy!
