| I'm in Shreveport, La. I'm not really looking for a group to go out investigating with or anything like that. I have interest in the paranormal and have checked stuff out before. From time to time I will casually investigate with taking pictures and such. I'm just mostly posting for anyone else that happens to be in my area to know there is someone else around that shares the same interest. |

I live near Woodbury, Georgia....which is about 30 miles south of Fayetteville..and about 30 miles west of Griffin. I'm kinda in a triangle..with the points being Coumbus, Macon, and Atlanta..all about the same distance away. _________________ Director of the West Georgia Paranormal Research Society

Well...technically I'm not from ANY state...but I figure, if you are interested in the paranormal, where you are from, does not really change that fact.
I'm from Winnipeg, MB, Canada.
But if I'm ever in the southern states, I'm looking up some hounds! |

Wow! A Canadian! And I thought I was the only one ...ah well, the more the merrier!
I've never been to Verdin but I've been to Montéal. Nice city. I love the fact that you can go for a horse and carriage ride near Notre Dame.
Thanks for the welcome! |

Hi, I live in Riverdake and would like to go on a hunt for sure. I was thinkig of going back down to Andersonville where Patrick says that there was lots of activity.. My mom lives down in Americus so maybe some of us can tent and I can check out the hotels. Also off this country road, My cousin shot his head off behind his house near the Shilo Cemetary, and his mother who overdosed on many pills at the hotel down the street. Just too much activity and I want to go on my peoples land and see if Carry is still there. Is anyone game? Let me know, My name is Loretta and Also my dad dropped dead at the Americus High School BB game in the gym and I am not sure if he lingered or went into the light. and My grandpa fell into the pigsty with two or three large pigs walking all over him. My cousin Rusty and I thought he was playing, but he was not. Also one more horrible story of a African American child, way back in the woods where he wood have no idea to be has to be researched. Please guys, this was the early 60's and I knew that this boy would not get bare butt nude and go for a swim in the country full of moccossans. All of these areas are a mile or two apart. What do you think? Please let me know. If they are there I would like to salt the place and sprinkle Holy Water. Then wright up the street where my neice and friend from work died in the back woods near Perry. If she is there, I have to send her home to heaven., What do you think hounds ??// |

Well, some of ya have already seen me around via the shoutbox, due to a small problem I was having. But for those who havent, I am a new member, and live in N.E. Georgia. Pretty close to North and South Carolina, in Habersham Co.. Some bordering Ga counties are Rabun, White, Towns, Hall, Stephens and Banks and in SC my county is bordered by Oconee Co. I am married, have a beautiful wife and two beautiful children, ages 9 and 11.
I have had several experiences, all tame, thank goodness. So far no bad one at all. The place I used to work was haunted, things like coat racks shaking back and forth, and doors opening and closing by themselves would occur quite often. The coat rack thing I actually saw happen, the doors could only be heard, everytime we would try to check it out, they would stay shut until we left the room again. We also heard strange noises, which we could not explain logically what they could be. Anyway, there are other things and I wont go into them here, I just wanted to give a brief rundown and introduce myself.
Are there any others from near my area on here, out of all these members, surely there has to be some nearby.
Note, I see there is one from Rabun Co....yay! Yall drop me a PM!

Iam a native too the Alpharetta area and are not very for from Cherokee and Forsyth counties.
I know a good bit about the greater Atlanta areas too, and are willing to go pretty much anywhere in Georgia.
My dads side of the family have 5 generations in the Atlanta fire department so I know a little history about a couple of the big fires that has happened from the early 1900s since my family has fought a good bit of them.
