Sounds like a great line up GG. Are you working on more investigation sites or is it going to be a lottery to see who gets to go?

We have a couple other possible locations in mind, but we may just limit it to these four.

Definately will be a lottery to pick investigators... and Thinking I think just to sweeten the preregistation incentive a bit more... we'll give preregistered people first dibs!

So to recap... we'll hold at least one lottery with only preregistered persons (before June 22'nd) elegable. If there are any spots not claimed, we'll hold a 2'nd lottery for everyone else.

Oh and we WILL have alternate plans for those not lucky enough to be chosen for the investigations.

But if anyone has their heart set on participating in one of these investigations, I highly recommend you preregister to better your chances! Ten days left!

Going... going...

Is Club One still open? When I was there last in December 2004, it looked closed, but it was daytime.

I would suggest that we (or whoever wants to break bread together) eat at Mother and Sons. That restaurant has the best Southern food I have ever tasted.

I am hoping that Pirate House will be open again, it was closed for repairs last time I was there, as well. They have a honey-walnut (or pecan) fried chicken that is to die for. The history of the place is a plus, as well.

Hiya Chris- Club One is closed during the day. I do suggest anyone going there for the show, which is great, be able to handle lots os smoke. Im a smoker and found it over whelming. Not sure if the no smoking laws apply in Savannah or at an 18 and over.
Also, yes! The Pirates House is open and ready to enjoy! Yum Yum!

Hey, Thanks Babs!

I was wondering about that. I was really disappointed that it was closed last time I was there. I love the Pirate House. I ended up having lunch at 17hundred90, which was pretty nice, also.
Hungry!

I love the Irish coffee at the Irish bar on the river - can't remember the name of it, but they are REALLY goood. Yummy! A Toast!

I would love to check out Club One, as well!

I look forward to meeting you in Savannah - such a great city! Dance

The Irish pub is Kevin Barry's. LOl, Can you tell Ive been to Savannah a few times?? I just love it there. Everytime I go it feels as if Ive arrived home.
Also, for those of you who like to dance, I reccomend a place called DeJa Groove. They play current pop as well as some of the old favorites from the 80's. The crowd age is quite varied from the beautiful 21 year olds to about 50.
An awesome place to eat is called The Crab Shack. Its not part of the chain everyone knows about. It was the crab shack before all the others. Its located on the way to Tybee Island. Awesome food, about mid-range in price. The specialize in seafood, of course, but there are steaks and such for the land lovers. They also have added a large area of gators and sell food for you to feed them while you wait to be seated. I will be there for their lowcountry boil! Their web site is http://thecrabshack.com/

Yup, It's Kevin Barry's

I remember now. I have only been there 4 times, and have never stayed more than a couple of days, but I love it too! Very Happy

They used to have a pub crawl, I will check and see if it is still in operation. I understand that Churchill's burned down. Too bad, I had always wanted to go there and never made it Crying or Very sad

If your speaking about the haunted pub crawl, it is indeed still going strong! I havent done that one but it sounds like fun! There is definitely plenty to do in Savannah. I was trying to remember the name of the horse drawn carriage ghost tour. There was a story about the man who runs it. I believe he was doing one of his first tours when himself and everyone in the carriage saw some ghosts raoming around Colonial cemetery. He was very frightened and it took him a few weeks before he was able to resume the tours.
We do have a tour set up for us at a discounted rate. It will be 10.00 instead of 15. Awesome rate if you've done other tours there. This tour will be done by Shannon Scott, a noted parapsychologist. His tours is based primarily on the history of haunted locations that he has verified by research. It culminates at his home....Surprise! Its haunted!
